Pre-Audition Workshops: July 31 & August 7 from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm *Use this link to sign up for the pre-audition workshop. You are free to sign up for more than one, but they will be the same session. We will work on projection, diction, theatricality, interpretation, physicality, as well as ensemble work.
What to prepare: Prepare a monologue in the style of the show, but not from the show. Either classical or contemporary if appropriate. Make sure to read the play (link above) in order to better choose your audition piece.
*Please do not choose a monologue from television, film, or other media – this is a very theatrical stage production – and the language of such plays is not particularly found outside of the theater.
Headshot/Photo & Theatrical Resume: Please bring a headshot (if you have one) or a photo of yourself and a resume of your previous theater experience. No experience is necessary to audition or be a part of a show here, this will just let the directors get to know you better.
Audition Form and Conflict Sheet: Please fill out the Audition Form and Conflict Sheet BEFORE August 19 at 3:00 pm. * Please know that outside of emergency circumstances, we will not accomodate conflicts in the month of October. Argonautika is a massive ensemble show and every performer’s presence is vital to the success of the show.
Sign up for a audition slot on Sign Up Genius. If all of the time slots that you are available for are taken, please just show up and register in person. Preference will be given to those who have signed up for a slot, so there may be a short wait. We will see everyone who shows up to audition!
Commitment Contract: Please PRINT out a copy of the TSP Commitment Contract and make sure that both you and a parent or guardian sign up. Bring this with you to the audition.
