We’d like to offer a huge THANK YOU to all of you who came out to audition. Like we ‘ve been saying all week, you should all be proud of yourselves. The cast list is below. If you are not on the list, please know that we would take everyone if we could, and keep working on your craft and doing the thing you love.
If you are on the cast list, congratulations! We are looking forward to getting you all started in the rehearsal process. You’ll notice that all of you, minus the character of Les, will make up the Brooklyn Newsies! You will all be onstage at the Brooklyn Newsies in any scene and song they are a part of -But, as you all sounded so great today singing, we want to hear more of you! You will be learning all of the big ensemble songs and singing as a group backstage. Whenever a vocal rehearsal says “ALL CAST” that includes you!
Your rehearsals begin Monday, January 13th from 3:30-6 pm for music rehearsal. See you all there!
The rehearsal calendar is posted and updated weekly or bi-weekly here on the website. (See the menu above)
Parents – congratulations! Now that your son or daughter is a part of the show, we need to set up a rotating schedule of chaperones for rehearsals and performances. As the schedule gets created, we will send out a Sign-Up Genius so you can choose your days and times. We need every family to participate in the chaperoning of the younger performers so that the time of all involved is used as efficiently as possible. Chaperones will be incharge of overseeing the students and be the liaison between the stage manager or director and the families of the other younger students. We’d like two parents to sign up for each rehearsal or performance for when these students are called, that way we know that there is always at least one person dedicated to them each time.
Here is the link to the Sign-Up Genius for next week. As each weekly or bi-weekly schedule gets posted we will update the sign up.

You are all also officially invited to our first Tri-Stars meeting of the year! Tri-Stars is the parent support group for the shows here at Tri-School. Our first meeting will be held in the music room on Monday January 27th from 6:15-7:15 pm immediately following vocal rehearsal. We will be providing pizza for the students who will be waiting for rides as we know it is late. We’d love you to join us!
