When:

• Vocal Auditions: Tuesday, November 12th or Wednesday, November 13th from 4:00-6:00pm. (sign up for a 15 minute slot)

• Dance/movement Auditions: Thursday, November 14th from 4:00-6:00pm (all auditioners attend the whole time)

Where: Gellert Auditorium at Serra High School

Prepare: Please choose a song in the style of Newsies but from a different musical.  Please prepare up to 32 bars for your audition and remember to bring prepared sheet music for the accompanist.

What to Bring/Wear:

1) Signed commitment contract

2) Headshot/School Photo

3) Theatrical Resume (if you have one)

4) Make sure to be dressed nicely for your vocal auditions (no school uniforms, sloppy clothes. Treat this like a job interview!) FOr the Dance/Movement audition, wear comfortable clothing and shoes that let you move freely.

*Call Backs will take place on Saturday, November 16th from 9am-5pm. (The callback list will be posted on the Tri-School Productions website on Thursday night/Friday morning)

Dance/Movement Workshops will be held at the Gellert Auditorium

In preparation for the auditions for Newsies, Tri-School Productions will be holding Dance & Movement Workshops. Director/Choreographer Gennine Harrington will lead students of all abilities and experience through fundamentals and basics so students will know what to expect at the dance audition.  Sign up – HERE!
